Level I Trauma Center Tour
What makes a Level I Trauma Center different than other emergency rooms? Why does it matter that Fort Worth has one? The JPS Health Network’s trauma center tour offers Tarrant County residents an opportunity to see for themselves, going behind the scenes with the experts.
Your host will introduce you to the JPS Health Network over lunch. Tour groups then cross Main Street via the third-floor skywalk, proceeding to the Patient Care Pavilion, home of the Level I Trauma Center. The tour makes stops in Radiology, at the ambulance bay and in the decontamination room before arriving at a trauma room. Following the path that a trauma patient might take, the tour proceeds to the operating room and the intensive care unit.
Any organization or community group is welcome to sign up for a tour. Tours customarily are limited to fewer than two dozen people. Smaller groups also are welcome, and may be combined.
To sign up for a tour, contact the JPS Foundation at 817-702-7310 or send an email to jpsfoundation@jpshealth.org
